Yes! Even though I’m going to be abroad next semester, and hulu doesn’t work outside the U.S., this news is still very exciting.
"Lost" will return Feb. 2, 2009
Per EW’s Michael Ausiello, “Lost” will return on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 9 p.m. with a 2-hour premiere. The show will then continue airing its final season Tuesdays from 9-10.
The ABC press release lists the season 6 full-time cast:
“Lost” stars Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Nestor Carbonell as Richard Alpert, Emilie de Ravin as Claire, Michael Emerson as Ben, Jeff Fahey as Frank Lapidus, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Daniel Dae Kim as Jin, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Ken Leung as Miles, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Terry O’Quinn as Locke and Zuleikha Robinson as Ilana.
Notable are the promotions of Carbonell, Fahey, and Robinson to series-regular status — it seems that Richard, Frank, and Ilana will play heavily into the final season’s plot. Claire will also be back full-time, after her absence from season 5. Unfortunately, Henry Ian Cusick, who plays Desmond, will no longer be a series regular, but it sounds like he will still be involved as a recurring guest star.
Beyond these casting announcements, it has also been confirmed that several characters from past seasons will reappear. Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet), Ian Somerhalder (Boone), Rebecca Mader (Charlotte), Dominic Monaghan (Charlie), Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond), and Katey Sagal (Helen) have all agreed to return for guest spots.

"Chuck" will return Sunday, Jan. 10
NBC also announced earlier today that “Chuck” would be returning earlier than planned, with two new episodes airing Sunday, Jan. 10. The show will then settle into its regular time period, Mondays at 8 p.m., on Jan. 11.
Thanks to a massive fan response and Subway stepping in as a major promotional partner, “Chuck” staved off cancellation last season, and was renewed for 13 episodes as a mid-season replacement. Last month, the network announced it had ordered six more episodes, bringing the total count to 19!
The beloved spy-nerd series will see the return of all its series regulars except Julia Ling, who played Anna. (Looks like Morgan and Anna’s plan of moving to Hawaii together doesn’t work out so well…)
The guest-star lineup is impressive. According to the press release:
“Chuck” returns with guest stars galore in its third season. These include: Angie Harmon (NBC’s “Law & Order”), who will play Sydney, an enemy operative; Brandon Routh (“Superman Returns”), who is set to play CIA Agent Daniel Shaw; Robert Patrick (“Terminator 2: Judgment Day”) will play Colonel Keller, a soldier and spy from Casey’s past; Kristin Kreuk (“Smallville”), who will portray Hannah — a potential love interest for Chuck; Armand Assante (“Judge Dredd”) as dictator Premier Goya, who is the target of an assassin; Steve Austin (“WWE Smackdown!”) will portray Hugo Panzer, who becomes entangled in Chuck’s first solo mission; and Vinnie Jones (“Snatch”) will play Carl Stromberg, an arms dealer.
Sounds like another stellar season! Who else is eagerly awaiting these returns?
