Concert board co-chairs Mark Bernardo and Julia Stein announced at the end of Theta Chi fundraiser Tufts’ Best Dance Crew that Nelly will be the headlining act of the 2013 Spring Fling concert.

Along with headliner Nelly, Bernardo and Stein announced the two opening acts mashup 5 & A Dime and indie band Yeasayer. The announcement comes after a petition for a female headlining artist received over 250 signatures online. Neither the creator of the petition nor the Concert Board were available for comment.
