Bank on it: Members of the Occupy Somerville movement, some of whom are Tufts students, are planning a rally in Davis Square to protest against the Bank of America and other financial institutions. Some protestors plan to close their Bank of America accounts as a statement against financial practices perceived as unfair and irresponsible.
Empty nest: Deans and advisers discuss how they try to strike a fine balance between accommodating concerned parents, and protecting the confidentiality and independence of students — parental interference in academic affairs appears to be the most common issue.
Jumbo pride: Fan the Fire, a school spirit initiative aimed at drawing students to sports games, will take place for the second time tomorrow at the men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader. There will be giveaways and a food for attendees of the event, co-organized with Relay for Life.
